I'd imagine this would be more for those who can't find OEM and would like to purchase a hardtop. I can't see myself ditching the OEM top for aftermarket unless the quality were good and the styling were very different enough from OEM (and appealed to me).

I'm interested in this as well. I would definitely love something that doesn't look like the OEM design. There was a link listed on the Facebook page, http://d-moris-equipments.com/hardtop-z4---photos.html. This made the e85 look more coupe like.
Glad to see an aftermarket hardtop buzz after all these years. |

I would kill for one of those Smoothline tops. Looking forward to seeing what they've got in the works. The OEM are rare as hens teeth, so it'll be nice to finally have more options for us Roadster guys.

The rear window is what makes it look weird, it is too long which ruins the shape of the actual roof. IMO it needs to be 3-4” shorter from the top to finish off the curvature of the actual roof.
