Z4 OEM alarms still available, from Germany

Hey guys, I have been looking far and wide for weeks for an OE alarm kit, part number 65730309944.

As has been said before, there don't seem to be any in stock in the US anymore, but Turner Motorsport said BMW Germany shows 7 in stock. Turner said there's no upcharge for shipping from them but just realize it would take a few weeks.

You're welcome!

Ahh...

Oh, and it's been shipped and is on the way, so it's not vaporware!

Yes, that's what I installed it on, though it's apparently meant for the vert. since it comes with the radar proximity sensor. Just don't install it.

Yes, it came with instructions; it's as easy as it gets. However, you'll need someone that can code the car to enable the alarm.

What kind of wiring does this stock alarm requires? Does it need to cut wires to be installed on a Z4M roadster?

The kit I referred to above is specific to a Z4 M Roadster. The wiring is already in place - that's the beauty of it.

Here's a thread that should help: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...2&postcount=25

I was looking for months to find a solutions with other alarms that I will not cut any of the wires of the car and I had no luck.

Dave thank you so much for the help. I ordered one. Nice discovery.

Unfortunately I have to wait 5 weeks to be delivered.

I contacted today Turner Motorsports because I wanted to add also some other parts on my order except the OEM Alarm. They told me that the Alarm is out of stock in USA and in Germany too up to the moment.

They think that during the end of the month the factory in Germany will begin to make some more but they told me that the timeframe is not very accurate.

Lets see what happens...

Yes as it seems i delayed to order one. It seems awkward to me also that they reproduce them and I believe that the guy from the chat told that to me to remain the order open and to be polite. Anyway I will inform you, in case someone is interested to buy one.

Unfortunately Turner Motorsports informed me today that the alarm will not be produced again from the factory in Germany and they don't have any other available.

Since I am very interested to buy that alarm does anyone please know any other place that I can buy it? Thank you.

Not sure what he's talking about here. It's integrated with the car, arms when the door locks, and the siren is LOUD. The only thing it's missing for me and what I'm used to is two-way paging.

Bought the factory alarm online last summer, was an easy install as the car was pre-wired, nice setup with the motion detector with the top down Only bad (expensive) part was I had to have BMW activate the alarm.
