Trunk and Luggage Dimensions
I am flying in to pick up my new Z4. I need to purchase some new luggage for the trip, and need some dimensions of luggage that fits in the trunk.
Can some tell me the size of the trunk, and/or the dimensions of luggage that would fit in it. I looked at the RodsterBag luggage set. Although this looks like a great fit, it l uses every square inch of the trunk. It also does not look like it could be used as carry on luggage for aircraft, as the dimensions are off. Thanks for your help. Bill |

& we have the M with the battery on the back corner. We hit the road every summer in ours. I have a carry on size & my wife a medium non-carry on size. We still have extra room for a small cooler plus various & sundry small packages.

Basically, any two bags that you can fit into an aircraft overhead bin will fit the Z4 with lots of room to spare. There is still rooom to lay a garmet bag flat on top.
I have the Roadster Bag luggage, and can squeeze in a soft briefcase and small items on the sides. The RoadsterBag systems holds a huge amount of clothing, etc - more than enough for a three week trip. The two smaller bags are a bit awkward to handle. Many people asked about the strange shape of these bags at hotel check-in. My response was that they are cases for "acoustic acordians." |
