WOW! I though I had low mileage. I bet Enthusiasts Auto will swipe this one up at that price.

He's got BBS wheels.

Don't think that's him.

I would buy it if I don't already have a MR. Thinking about switching to a coupe tho.

What a shame for someone who bought that car and didn't even put enough miles on it to get to an oil change.

For whoever gets it, hopefully they realize that just because it has 3k miles on it doesn't mean that you get to drive it like a brand new car. I'd still change all the fluids and enjoy..

I'm not sure I'd pay an extra 10k for this car over what I paid for my car with 49k miles... Other than having navigation, it looks to be in basically the same shape as my car (pristine)..

Too Late

I have been searching for one for a while. I called yesterday and it had sold that morning. Just called on another in Pittsburg and same story.

My question is... why buy a car like this and not drive it. The damn thing was made to be driven, designed to be used. I can't even understand that about people with Ferrari's. What's the point, fuck it. I am driving mine until it dies, LOL.

On the flip side, not a bad buy.

you and most of us look at these cars as driving machines, and use them as such.
While I am not a person who stores cars (though my E86 sits tightly under cover in the winter), I think you describe someone who views special cars also as material or collectors items, in addition to a driving machine. To them, preservation is just as enjoyable as acceleration.

I hope one day I am in a position that I can also have a car that I vew as art and more than just a driving machine. It might be a '55 porsche spyder replica, driven only on summer weekends.

I hear you and perhaps if I had a Ferrari Dino, A Miura or M1, yes, but to purchase what is for all intents and purposes a regular car and then not drive it? But to each his own, more power to the new owner. I found miune with 7K miles and two years old. I have since put on 23K miles in almost three years. wanna get this bad boy to 150K and infinite smiles.

Considering the cost of maintenance and repair on some Ferraris, sometimes you are better off just to look at them rather than driving them. However this car is a whole different animal. Cost of repair and maintenance are nowhere near exotic territory but yet you do get the driving thrill of a semi-exotic. Makes no sense to me why someone would "collect" this car and turn around and sell it just a few years later. I am sure they have their reasons.
