For what it's worth, I don't agree with the ratings either. Your job as a fair 3rd party is to only present facts and not to pass judgement and express your "feelings" on somebody else's car.

How does this poor coupe get a 1 star?

Ratings are compared to the current state of the market. There are 53 other coupes available, a stanced and salvage title coupe is a 1 star compared to some <15K mile weekend driver with extensive service records. My comments should not a deciding factor in someones $20K-$40K purchase. PPI and in person purchases are always recommended. My comments also reflect the ad itself. If a seller (usually some random dealer) just copies and pastes an incorrect fact sheet and a disclaimer about doc fees, I won't trust them as much as the guy who mentions when the last Inspection II valve adjustment was.

2 things, the coupe I pointed out is a bad example hence I edited my post and removed the link.

second, My point and a few other posters here is that by you judging these cars based on some pictures and very limited info and giving them low ratings (some undeserved), you make it tough on the sellers. I know you had one of these cars and don't know how you would have felt like if before you salvaged it, you tried to sell it through this very system.

Why is this site wildly outdated? C'mon. The z3 site is always in good shape.

Love your website wish I would have found it before I bought my car. I did actually find my car on the site after I bought it it was nice to see it there with good ratings I think you might have actually been interested in it.

My car was for sale at Enthusiast for months and it was never even listed on this site. It sold a couple weeks ago. Not quite as thorough as they'd like you to believe.
