It says it has a "Lemon Law" title. What does that mean for resale? Insurance?

For insurance - it has no impact. For resale, I don't know, because I haven't sold it yet, but my assumption is that one would sell for less than its clean title counterpart - how much exactly I can't say. I bought the car knowing the title status.

EDIT: Lemon Law varies from state to state. Here's some background info: http://www.dmv.org/automotive-law/lemon-law.php. The basis of the difference is that states have different classifications on the number of attempts over a duration of time for the manufacturer to fix the car in question. Specifically, the designation for this car is in respect to CA law - as it has been in San Diego since delivery (previous owner was in SD as well.)

It can actually mean jack-crap (not meaning to be rude or anything), a mate of mine had a JKU jeep in CA and the roof leaked (leaked a little under heavy rain) they took it back to the dealer 3 times (which i think is what the lemon law is) and couldn't fix it, they returned the car for a full refund. The car is then sold onwards, stating "lemon law".. so it could be nothing, or it could be something…

beaut car mate, GLWS

Means that based on the state it was repaired at, while it was very new it spent enough time in the shop that the dealer ended up buying it back. As said above it could mean anything from an incompetent dealer (or tech) or a few small problems that caused the days to mount up, to replacement parts that also didn't fix the problem, to replacement parts that weren't available quickly (waiting for parts adds to the day in the shop). Won't affect insurance, doesn't help resale value (would be better if it didn't have it), I wouldn't expect hurts it too much, but I would try to find out more.

Take the VIN to the service manager at the dealer and see if he will pull the records.

My bank won't finance a lemon titled car, or any branded titled car for that matter. So there's that. Makes this a cash deal. Or maybe you find a bank that will take a chance. Idk.
