Maybe someone can help me with this? When I let my foot off the gas of my automatic z4 and I'm just rolling to a red light for example I can sometimes feel the car surge forward or back. It's like little jolts as if i were pressing the brake just a tiny bit. Anyone have any idea what this could be? Thank You.

Are you driving in sport mode? Could be the transmission downshifting

Possibly the torque converter. Also check the tranny. That's all I got.
And you probably have sport mode. I think if you move the gear shifter to the left? That holds it a gear lower, and does a bunch of other things that supposedly make it faster |

Just transmission things. Not the throttle or the steering change of the sport button.
