ESS modified Vortech supercharger Blow-Off valve?

Does anyone have the Vortech Maxflow Race Blow off valve on their ESS supercharged Z?
I am told ESS modifies this valve for their kits and it is "silent while cruising".
What videos I can find are non-ESS kits and presumed stock Vortech valve….and they are hardly silent.

Any BOV won't be silent. If you want silent, you need a bypass valve.

The Tial QR is pretty quiet on my non-M.

it looks long.... that may foul the hood.
Edit ; not sure why ess would mod the valve for their use? as then ESS would have to warranty the part as the VT warranty will be void, which i can't see ESS doing. Have you asked ESS if their is a way to stop the VT valve making the whistle noise that bugs you so bad?

I not 100% sure ESS modifies this valve….but was implied when I asked for a model number as to what valve they are proposing…..but their on-line photo of the current VT2-525 has a bypass valve…not this race BOV.

I will get exact measurements before I would order as I am also worried about clearance with the hood.

I am thinking I will just buy yet another plastic intake elbow and buy a Tial bypass valve to make my car as quiet as possible.

I doubt I will be able to remove that plug that was JB welded in place.
