3.0si - VMR V710's (pics inside)

Hello all, decided to give myself an early xmas present last week and bought myself a set of v710's. So far I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Went with Michelin PSS's and couldn't be happier with the change in ride quality. Had RunFlats for 7 years and I wish I would have made this change a lot sooner.

Like many others, Brandon from VMR helped me out and everything was a breeze.

19x8.5 ET35 (225/35/19)front & 19x9.5 ET45 (255/30/19)back

Opinions & feedback are welcomed

Thanks! I have to admit I was a bit nervous about them being "too flashy" lol

That looks fantastic!

Your car went from a Coupe to COUPE. If that makes any kind of sense.

I have always said the best mod one can do to update their ride is to change the rims.

If you get it wrong it's really, really wrong and probably visually worse.

But if you get it right it can transform the aesthetics of the car to the point of non-car people recognizing it looks really good to their eye.

You selected the ideal size, color and fitment and is clearly evident it's a grand slam.

Excellent choice.

Thank you! I was definitely a little skeptical/nervous making the switch but loving results.

Any recommendations on some vendors? Haven't really thought about making that addition.

It was actually designed by a couple forum members and made by a member as well, he's still selling them. Other than used, I don't think there's another source on these. I have one for sale but only looking for local pickup so not sure that would work haha.

His thread is here -> http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=782882

With the OEM ///M bumper I think this is the best economic stylish addition you can make (ultimately I like VRS better, but that's $$$). Either way your car looks great though!

So you're still able to get the bumper from BMW? I assumed they would stop making it :/

Very very nice. With the bumper it just completes the look; great color choice with the blue.

I'm betting 18" to 19" with the PSS but ditching the RFTs improved both ride and handling.

Thank you! Yea getting rid of the RunFlats improved the ride immensely.

I don't feel like I went to a club after a long drive either, RF's are pretty loud imo.

Your setup looks great! I'm think about doing the same. Any spacers and how much drop do you have?

Your car is absolutely beautiful and the new wheels just make it more so. Not a day goes by that I don't regret trading in my Z for a more northeastern weather friendly car. Prior to trading my car I purchased a set of 810's I can't use. Mistake # 2. Best of luck with your car!

Very nice looking coupe! Did the stock 68mm center caps fit or are those different ones?

Thank you! Sorry to hear you had to let yours go, I almost had to part ways with mine as well. Can't imagine having to let it go.

This actually brings up a good point - if you ever want to update or refresh any wheels using OEM caps (including OEM), you should look into the F30 BMW cap part number -> 36 13 6 783 536. It's a pretty nice update to the older cap.
