Rear turn signal issue

My passenger side rear turn signal is out... got the notification on the dash and the speedy blinker when I make right turns.

Ok, simple enough, replaced the bulb except that it didn't fix the problem. Ok, so now what? Is this a common thing?

So turn signal bulb is fine apparently (unless I just happened to have a bad replacement as well)...

Ohm out the bulbs, or hit them with a 9V battery and see if they light.
Then check the fuse.
