I use my front plate bracket to mount my EZpass transponder. I think a white plastic block velcro'd to the inside of the windshield is far worse looking than a license plate on the front of the car.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

My Z4 came with the front plate mount already, it was a Missouri used car. My front bumper will need to be replaced at some point, it came with a nice divot in the center. When I do replace the front bumper, it will be very difficult to remount the front plate. I am sure I will as I have read all too many times of being pulled over for not having a front plate. Also there is not really any reason driving around with instant Probable Cause.

It's been there since Oct 2012, through all weather and all seasons.

I spray dipped my EZPass black. Barely notice it on the windshield now.

Looks like the law changed September 2013 to require front tags. I think you got lucky he didn't fine you $200.

MSHP have popped me three times over the last 5 years for no front plate. $70 each time but no points taken off. Normal driving too.
