Its a metalic black. Sorry for the obvious question. The sky was gloomy out and it didn't show the paint too well. I've blacked out the reflectors since and need to post some more pics.

I bet that car is alot of fun to drive. I had an S2000 and that thing was a blast, I can only imagine a BMW with that M engine and handling. Nice looking ride

Yep, I love black. As far as "when it's clean" - black keeps you honest; everyone else can pretend they keep their cars clean, black car owners actually do.

Most people can't tell the difference between a Z4 and and a Z4M...the coupe is on the normal person's holy shit what was that list. Plus my coupe has windows...fresh air will come in if I let it

Well, 6 months out of the year, maybe I would. Then I'd be kicking myself during the warmer months, because I love top-down driving (and it provides a methadone-like substitute for riding a motorcycle). And from the times I've sat in them at the dealership, it seems like the coupe is missing a bit of the leg room available in the roadster.

Though I'm "broad in the shoulder, narrow at the hip," I've also got a 34" inseam and size 15 feet to accomodate. (Hence the paucity of Italian cars and shoes in my life).

A black coupe with blacked-out grill would look sinister, though. I'd paint the brake calipers red, get red seat-belts, and do 20Ducks' red dye-mod to the floor-mats for a bit of contrast and more accent color, or perhaps get custom mats made with the ///M emboidered in solid red. And I'd probably go with BBS RS-GTs in silver rather than CSLs. Not that I've considered it.
