Gruppe M intake for zmc

So I bought gruppem intake off of a buddy who sold his car.

After taking off the stock system to install the intake I realized that I'm missing couple of hard ware. Its missing maf sensor billet spacer.

To those of u with gruppem, do u know if this spacer will be a criticle for maf sensor reading?

without having couple of mouting hardware with no instruction, it is hard to tell where this pipe goes..

Can anyone tell me whre this pipe goes? this pipe fits perfect with the mesh screen. but mesh screen also fits fine in between the pipe and filter.

I'm thinking this maybe part of oem intake box that was removed to remove the mesh filter and got thrown in to the bag when seller gave me...

That's odd. I dont recall seeing that piece when I installed mine.

re the missing hardware, your best bet is to find some person willing to lend you theirs and you take it to a machine shop and have it refabricated. and no I will not lend mine out.

Good luck

I have a gruppe m intake, the mesh screen is removed from the intake box. You need to remove the charcoal filter to get to it.

contacted Gruppe M and they are willing to order from Japan.
Just waiting for the quote, in the meantime I will try without the spacer to see if it work without triggering the CEL.

I've heard some people actually removed the spacer and working fine..

Yup, thanks. It is the mesh screen from oem box indeed.

However, would you be able to tell where exactly this mesh screen fits??

I originally thought that it goes right behind the silver ring and it fits. However, there is no taps to click this mesh screen on to. it is just loose fitting and i've confirmed that it comes loose and into the filter during driving.

Yesterday, I removed it once again and put it in blue hose between the black maf housing pipe and filter pipe.

Can you guys please tell me where this piece is suppose to fit?

looking at m3 gruppem intake instruction, it does sit behind the silver ring but it is flat (ours is not perfectly flat but kind wave shaped) and have taps click onto silver ring. Our removed oem mesh peice do not have these taps.

Please help.
