seems to be made by a japanese tuner. i guess backpressure and phsyics might explain the odd 90 and 180 and 360 degree bends?

I agree. I can't imagine that any increased power could compensate for the weight added

Its a Saclam exhaust. Hand made and super expensive. Those cans alone are 4k+

Looks like you get the awesome tip style like RPI without the overwhelmingly loud tone. I would love to hear it what this sounds like.

lets hope this works various clips taken from saclam's website

on an m roadster, just clink the link for the wma file, taken directly from saclam's own website.

http://saclam.blog.so-net.ne.jp/2007-02-24-1

http://www.saclam.com./short_topics/Z4M0223.WMA

http://www.saclam.com/short_topics/Z4M_bumper_1.WMA

these are the "M" specific rear cans, as the ones with the crazy bends i believe are for a 3.0? anyways price on the m version is 298,200yen which today is about 3200canadian or 3060usdollars

and for those that wanted to hear the e46 m3

http://www.saclam.com/short_topics/e46m3.wav

*they did complete systems for e36 and e46 m3, headers, crosspipe and rear, the headers alone were 357,000yen!

There are a lot of end mufflers on high performance cars that have more inefficient bends inside...
