My input -
I like the original design Nikki put up with the small image small on the front and large on the back. Maybe it's 'cause I have BOOBS, but I don't generally dig print going across my chest.... *pause for input from the Peanut Gallery* I like the addition of the sleeve print too but not so much on the bottom hem. Again, these preferences probably have a lot to do with female anatomy differences. p.s. does anyone else think that "club" will make us sound like in-your-face elitist M3 owners? *ducks inevitable thrown bottles*

maybe its just me, but im not really feeling the silhouette, seems like it would be hard for someone to see that and know it's a m coupe.
maybe a more detailed silhouette with thinner/ sharper lines?

But I can try and add more detail in when i have time. I did originally have the "Z" line in there but it didn't look quite right.

werd...I like how it's somewhat mysterious as to what the car actually is. It'll make people want to look up Zpost and find out what exactly was on our shirts lol
Perhaps we should have a design for the guys, and then a few shirts for the gals (with boobs) |

Nikki, can you send me that file in jpg format? High res if possible.
I'm playing with my wife's shiny new embroidery sticher. Damn thing is amazing! It's only programmed with butterflies and old lady crap. I need to get some cool designs to test out! -V |

You guys thinking Tshirts or polos?
I'm not looking to make money, but I'm not going to go out and stock a bunch of black tshirts and only have a couple of orders go thru. Anybody have sources in mind? There's lots of generic blank tshirts, i rather have something a little higher quality, but namebrand. Nikki: I sent you a PM. I'll play with the file tonight. |

Sorry, I don't mean to thread jack but are we still deciding on different designs or has it already been locked in? If not, I was going to propose something like this, actual photo but using those sketch affects. Thought it'd look good on a black shirt... maybe on the back, with the zpost logo on the front, whether its on the chest or at the very bottom?

We're not locked into anything. I just wante to play with some embroidery options with my wife's new fancy machine. I don't think the machine will do anything like that ^^ though. Simple logos and basic shapes look sharp.
I went to the supply store and they had some awesome bright whites and reds that would look sharp as a logo. PS: We have to do something with the a$$ ugly coupe. The roadster is so much better looking in profile. |

If we go silk screen then T-shirts. If the embroidery works out, then polos are a serious option, would probably be a class act combination.

Well the first one was going great until I broke a needle. I had to start over and fix the machine. Since the broken needle made a mess of the shirt I just cut out a square to practice on, so you're going to have to use your imagination to see it on the left chest.
The good thing is the thread I use is amazing quality and color. The backing is "wash-away" so you won't have that ugly white patch behind the stitches to irritate your skin. The machine insisted on filling in the inside of the P and inside of the O with white thread, so I need to figure out what to do to make it look nice. Need to also fix the density of the black thread (you can see a missed jump). You guys continue to decide what design you want. I'll continue to monkey with the embroidery software. Here's the pick and a link to the video. |
