...at 5pm yesterday and while I was on my way to meet up with some buddies at a pub to watch the Dallas game, I pull up to a redlight and guess what is next to me. Top down good looking female in a Black M Roadster. I don't say anything cause I'm in a e90 328i and she would probably think I'm just hitting on her when I'm more interested in the car. I've had my car for 2 weeks and have been constantly on the lookout for other Z4Ms and within 2 hours of me not having my car I see one. and it doesn't stop there. I get to where I'm going, and there is a Z3M.

After the game is over, I am heading home and I see a TiAG Z4M roadster.

THEN on my way to work today, a White Z4M Roadster. Are you SERIOUS!?! 4 local Ms in less than 15 hours that I had never seen before. I miss my car and this is just rubbing it in. Was there a meet I didn't know about? lol

Atleast I know my coupe is being taken care of at the dealership. My good buddy is working on it.

It seems there are more Z3/4s around than Miatas in this area. I live a 73 unit condominium and we have 5 Z3/4s and mine is the only non M. That is a super concentration even for here, exceeded only by the line awaiting service at the dealer. John

As long as you didn't see YOUR M Roadster being driven by some girl who works at the shop, I guess you are OK.

Imagine that.. you realize that she was in your car. That would be a conversation starter if there was any.

I am so embarrassed to have a dime a dozen car. Poor lowly me. Perhaps I can give away my POS roadster and drive a car more befitting my lowly peasant status.

... except you're wrong. There are 3,041 M roadsters and 1,815 M coupes. A whole ~1,200 more across North America.

Not to mention that I'd never trade my roadster for a coupe.... ever.

Yes, lets not turn this into a roadster hating thread. My coupe just wants some friends to cruise with. And I thought it was ironic that the first day I was without my coupe, they all came out to play.

The 328i non sport package Loaner I have isnt' too bad either. At first I thought it was a boat. I just got my Z4MC about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I came from an E46 325i sport package with H&R Cup Kit on it. Jumping into the 328i I was very unimpressed and glad I chose the Z4MC over the 335i I was thinking about 5-6 weeks ago. But the more I drive it, the more comfy and classy it feels. That N52 motor isn't no slouch either. It gets up and goes. If I was thinking family, I'd look into an E90.....335i.........and still keep my Z4MC of course.
