Please Help Z4 M Coupe Pre-Purchase Time Sensitive

Thanks in advance for helping to make this Z4MC mine

I am about to buy this car. It is at the dealership now. I need advice please. Here are the inspection reports from the Z4 M Coupe I want to buy.
Inspection says:
Replace Alternator/AC Belts and tensioner
RED oil leaks
Oil sweating from O-ring on Constant Pressure Valve
Actual reports below. I want this car, does this report throw up any red flags, and anything that should be done at the same time as the Constant Pressure valve O-Rings?
Are there any hard to get at maintenance or preventative maintenance items that should be done at same time?

The CPV oil leak is very common and no big deal. I have to do the work on my ride as well. I don't see any red flags from this list but then again sounds like you are purchasing the car from the same dealer who performed the PPI? They could be hiding major issues if there happens to be any and if they are dishonest. Just my 2 cents

Car is private party. I chose the dealership since they have serviced it in the past. The first inspection notes were items I specified to be checked. Is the belt tensioner difficult to do?
Anyone else ? All input appreciated

SMOUPE thanks for the speedy reply.

Reports look pretty good. The belt tensioners are approx a 3 hour job and $150(US) in parts according to pelican parts out of the usa. I would dump those tires asap and get michelin pilot sports. Mine had original contis which I changed out that rode like hockey pucks and u know how bad the roads are here! Try and get the dealer to print out a list of all service done at bmw dealers- I was able to get that. Good luck

Current private party owner is going to replace the belts, tensioner, and oil control valve. He will buy new parts so I have the receipts. Dealer won't release the records to either one of us since the work was for the first owner. They show on Carfax though. Tires will be RE71R for B Street SCCA Autox. I will eventually get Apex wheels with PSS for daily duty. 18x9x9.5 square.
Cars not mine yet, hopefully the negotiations go well for both myself and the seller.

Carl, just an FYI, there is an alternative Viton o-ring for the CPV. It's only a $5 part, but will probably save you from having to deal with it again in the future. It's even available on Amazon, now.

I don't see anything disastrous. However, since both left wheels have been repainted, I'd double check the car has not been in an accident - including potentially measuring paint thickness with a paint meter.

I hope this is the one for you!

The paint was checked, looks like the front bumper has been repainted, although only detectable because of no clear bra. All the usual culprits for rock chips are clear bra'd.

The owner said he thought it was repainted before inspection.

The dealer was asked to look for evidence but reported none which is neither here nor there.
Thank you to everyone who chimed in.

Agreed, however the last Interlagos sold had 46500 on the clock, so 52K isn't too bad.

I continue to look although I have put a deposit on this car.

I expect money will change hands in about a week, perhaps sooner.

This has been a terrific introduction to a very informative community.

I have threads in tire and wheel plus the competition area with requests for guidance.

I don't see any potential/possible concerns/issues other than those already called out. CPV leak, meh. Wheels/paint, interesting, might just go with the crazy tire combo though, worth a bit more of a check.

This is a very nice car, but it will take a while to sort out the title. So I am still looking and still ready to buy.

Someone must have one sitting unused. I promise to use it well.

Thanks, Carl

You know, for the right price, I could offer you mine Montego is very similar to Interlagos.

Although, finding the exact Z4M you want is a tough one, especially in Interlagos. Searched autotrader entire US, not one.

You also have a handful of honest people on here that can help with technical issues, and I've had great luck with buying/selling parts here as well. Good community.

Tempting, your car is very nice, but I have a race car that I am rebuilding.

The photo of your garage is my inspirational photo till I get my own

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your purchase! What part of Hawaii are you in? I just moved back to the mainland from Kauai and I'm already missing island life now that the morning temps here are like the top of Haleakala in the middle of winter.

I'm on the Big Island. Just about to re-open the kart(autoX) course after a year of waiting.
Chassis inspection Sunday and then if no surprises I will be buying a car Monday. To ship the following Saturday to me two weeks after that so about a month from now

It's not a MC, but I still shake my head at the guy on here who traded in his interlagos M roadster with 60k miles go for $16k a few years ago. I say he shoulda offered it to us, but oh well.
