Question Z4M tyre setup – will it rub on Z4 Coup 3.0si?

Does the Z4 Coupe (3.0si) has different fenders and can it take the tyre size of the Z4M?

For example, the fronts run 225-40-18 on the Z4C, and 225-45-18 on the Z4M. So that’s a 3-4% difference in rolling diameter? I want to put the 225-45-18 tyres (square) on my car for winter to gain just a bit more ground clearance, more comfort too. Do you think this is doable or will I rub on front or back?

i believe all z4s share same body panels and inner fender something.
i think the only thing you should consider about is the speed rate for getting z4m oem size tires on your z4si, unless you want go more aggressive rims offset.
i currently having 8JX19 ET:37 at front with 235/35/19 with H&R lowering spring, it rubs but not very serious that should not be worry about

Just FYI to anyone trying gto fit the 225/45 R18 on the 3.0Si model (not M) = it will rub at least with tyres Im using at the moment (ContiIceContact) / winters, agressive shoulders obviously. Rubs on front fenders towards front, going over bumps, and on arches at 10 oclock. Expensive lesson. Have to replace. A good time to bitch and moan about forum advice.
