Then definitely don't get ebay headers, fab speed require slight modification of a heat shield, active headers bolt right in, as do supersprint and OEM csl headers.

Those are the only headers I ever recommend to people. I've personally had active and csl headers and they are both very good.

New coupe is in warranty till mid 2012. Will pick up a new pair then. Needed some cash to get some goodies for the new one. Miss the extra power and sound though. Favorite mod.

They bolt straight in. Did it myself with jackstands in 8 hours. Hardest part for me was the one stubborn O2 sensor. Got it but it set me back an hour. With sim or tune you will probably get a ses light but the car runs great. Just an annoying light.

For another good reason to pick up quality (not Ebay) headers, fast forward to 30 seconds into the video:

embed didn't work.

That reminds me . If you get headers ceramic coat them. Mine got so hot the windshield fluid would bubble out if hood. I would leave the cap of the resiviour off to help with the pressure.

I have the Actives and it's loud with stock exhaust. I like it a lot but wouldn't want it to be any louder. I think with RPi's you're going to get drone, no question.

Mine is also still under warranty. I figure if anything happens, I'll just put the stock headers back on

I don't think I would say it's loud. At least not the exhaust. The sound from engine bay is louder then the actual exhaust note.

With the RPIs though it will definitely be very loud, they aren't even muffled.
