SOCAL: 2008 Z4M Bumper was hit
Hey guys,
So my Z4M bumper was looking a bit beat, basically from me first learning to drive it (the low front bumper). But it still looked pretty nice, aside from the rocks chips from the damn 605 freeway. I parked the car on Saturday night on the street in Santa Monica. The next day I was getting ready to wash my car when I noticed the paint was peeling from the kidney grill area. There is a clear impression from what ever hit me. Bastards... I will post pics later. Does any one know of any trusted paint shops in SoCal? San Gabriel Valley area. Thanks, Marco |

Howard Brown and Sons in west LA, one of the top five shops in town.
They are BMW certified out the wazoo, one of the few shops with z8 cert, great paintwork. Prices are market rate ± 5% Yes on filing the front-side markers, and the plate holder holes, if you have any. Might as well get new (black?) grills too. Speak to Brad, mention my name RobC |

I removed my bumper yesterday. It took about 45 minutes to trip the grills, badge, water jets, and side markers. The bumper came of quite easily. I plan on taking it to a local body shop that is painting my brothers Alfa Romeo. They do gorgeous restorations. Will post pics soon.
On a side note. I noticed the Z4M bumper was in the USA! I guess we have good molding facilities here! |
