which headers will give the most horse?

i have about 2k to spend, i already have rpi axle backs ....love them btw....but i am un sure about headers, any strau=ight foward advice on headers with a cat delete w no check engine light?

I would wait until my new exhaust system come to the market in a few months and they will come complete with headers for now I think you should do the LSD.

There's really no way around a check engine light unless you get the simulator (not sure what the status is on this) or a tune. Headers delete the primary cat and is pretty much the only intake/exhaust mod that adds a decent amount of power. Everything else is for sound and maybe a couple hp tops.

My BMS X pipe and mufflers were quoted as dyno tested to increase HP by about 10 or 12. Almost all of that was attributed to the X pipe. These were not made up figures; they were established with before and after dyno runs. Changing mufflers only had minimal effect on HP.

Cat deletes almost always result in a CEL being thrown for increased emissions. There are tunes to get around it or you can just be content with seeing the light.

There's no change in performance even with the light on. That's how it's been for my E46 M3 for a while!
