Doing some seach on the Intenet, iPod Touch 3rd gen is a bit thinner than iPhone 3G/3Gs. It is not an exact fit.

damn, too bad. i wonder if the part numbers are the same or if it will still fit. which device holder is it that you have? looks like alot of different options on the proclip website

EDIT: nevermind, this is just for the device holder right? i neeed the mount too, might as well buy the exact fit with the mount

Yeah. You might as well buy the one with exact fit. I put it up for sale in case somebody is planning on getting the mount and they can save some on the holder. You figure it is $34.99 plus shipping when you buy from Proclip.
