Ow man that ebay link is tempting, ever since i saw the first V10 swap done years ago i have been killing for a Z4 V10 swap.

Or even the M3 v8 seems like a better swap now, its a lighter engine and still makes great NA power.

The M5/M6 engine weighs about 530 lbs. where as the S54 weighs about 480 lbs. so the addition puts about 50 extra lbs. over the nose. That doesnt include all the extras I have no idea about the transmission weights etc.

I think a V10 is overkill for a Z4. I'd be much more happier with the M3's V8. Which is what this car should already have IMO. Although I love my S54

I always thought that engine would easily fit in our cars....the E85/86 has loads of room around the S54...way more than the E46 M3
