i apologize through some digging i found it in the file i was sent by beta. Now im having another problem. It was saying: "current vehicle identification is not valid!!!! it seems this ECU has more than one identification stored.

You can try and select a different identification first....

If selection a different identification does not help, click the next button for more options" i can send a pic if you think it will help.

Hmmm...you may have to attempt to reinstall the drivers. If that doesn't work, try contacting Jamie at RK Autowerks.

So im trying it again and next to "vehicle identification number" the number starts with "WBAA000.....etc" If i click on that my actual VIN is an option, should i switch my actual VIN to the window or leave it alone?

EDIT: Emailed James and got a response overnight. Looks like i should choose my actual VIN, makes sense, but i wasnt about to choose it without confirmation first.

Thanks to James at RK an Imran at Evolve for the quick help.

Just curious on the turnaround of the modded file. I sent in my stock file last Friday (6/22), and I haven't gotten anything back yet. Is this normal?

As I mentioned in a previous post, I received my file back within 48 hours after submitting the data to Evolve-R.
However, I dealt with the UK office of Evolve, because I am located in Europe.

I suppose that you US guys will have to wait longer, because that's where most of the 56 members of the group buy live. Consequently, I assume that RKAutowerks (Evolve partner in US) is now a little bit flooded

Sorry for those of you that have experienced a delay. This is due to the extremely large number of files being sent to us at the same time and our main programmer having to make an unscheduled trip abroad. He is back today so we endeavour to catch up in the next 2 days.

Nice! Welcome back Sal!

Goodluck finishing up as many files as you can! I know there is a HUGE list for you all. Simply shows how sought after your product, tune, and services are.

Keep it up.

Sorry about the delay to those who have been waiting.

Flew back into the UK and am already working on getting all of the tuned files back to those waiting.

Again, sorry for the delay on this. Something that happened at the wrong time but could not be avoided.

TAKE YOUR TIME! Id rather wait an extra day or two if it means knowing the guy who tuned my car had time to focus on what hes doing rather than rush.

Thanks for the good service and communication guys!

Totally agree, I'm willing to wait if that means you have the time to put more thought into the specific tune for each our our specific setups. I can't speak for others, but I have no events or anything that is hinging on getting the tune back faster, so take your time with mine!

Thanks for understanding guys and your points are so very much valid.

Cannot afford to make mistakes on tuning and we'd rather be upfront about any delays rather than cover it up with false excuses.

No worries here. I'm out of town for the next week, so you can leave mine until the end.

Hey guys, quick update with a little review:

I installed the tune on Wednesday, it takes about 15 minutes. The first thing i noticed is the smoothness, i know everybody says that when they get a tune, but really it is very noticeable. The best part about this tune so far is that it eliminated the hesitation i had every time i switched gears. Of course the thing on everyone's mind is the power. The power is noticeable, the biggest thing to notice is that the power just keep coming, their is no slowing around 7200 rpm like before. Just pulls very hard all the way to redline, no more short shifting every gear!

I would recommend this tune for anyone, just for the drive-ability improvement alone its worth it, the extra power is the icing on the cake.

^Agree, I only have put 25 miles on it so far since installing the tune, but there was an immediate notice in smoothness. And everyone is right, the power just keeps coming, pulls like crazy now! The car even sounds a little different when I'm going WOT which is awesome. Can't wait to put several hundred more miles on it to let it adapt.

As a side note, I was quite surprised at how much noise the car made while loading the ECU...wasn't expecting that...

Oh yea, made me nervous for a second there. It quickly gave way to curiosity though, spent most of the 15 minutes poking around under the hood

I know right? I live in an apartment complex and park in an underground garage space, and I thought that sound was one of the water pipes above me about to burst!

This won't expire or anything right? I have a software flash appointment next week and want to drive it for a week before sending the file over since it's driver adaptive and the ecu learns. Am I correct in that?...or should Does it not matter and I should send in my file as soon as its flashed?

If you are referring to Evolve Automotive tuning your file, then, no, the service won't expire. Evolve will tune your file whenever you are ready. No need to let it adapt before sending it in.

As soon as you get your car flashed, extract the data and send it to Evolve Automotive. Then you can continue driving your car as you wait for Evolve to return the file to you.
