Z4M with Varis aero and APR rear wing .

Finally put some real aero on my Z4M track car . Went with Varis front bumper/ splitter , and full rear undertray and diffuser with an APR GTC 200 wing . Also did the Varis vented good to help with cooling . Really happy with how things turned out visually but even happier with the effects on track . Even on a 90 degree day was seeing water temps in the 21x's and oil temps stayed below 240 for 20 minute sessions. Basically seeing water temps down approximately 10 degrees and oil temps down almost 20 from the increased airflow across the coolers . The downforce from all the components was a significant difference and will take some getting used to trusting it . First day out saw several mph gained in the fast corners at Roebling and less of a drop off in the hot afternoon sessions vs just mechanical grip that I relied on before .

May you please share some pictures of the rear diffuser from underneath? I'm curious how it bolts up and looks. It's on my to do list and finding pictures of it that are visible are next to impossible.

Who did you end up getting it through?

It bolts up to the factory points , there is even a Naca duct for the differential , sorry car is so low can get a shot without jacking up . The diffuser goes from well in front of the rear wheels all the way back, it's very functional and complete . I ordered it through bulletproof . Be prepared for a 6 month wait though , the Japanese like taking their time .

Fantastic! Great seeing a roadster with hardtop & spoiler. Any more overall shots of the car from rear angle(s)?

Was this the GTC-200 configuration as ordered from APR? Seems they place the element higher on the coupe than roadster if this was spec'd by APR. Also seems like it bows down slightly but that could be my imagination. I kind of dig the lower look.

Love the Varis bits too, very nice!

Car set-up looks amazing!
Thanks for sharing the data on cooling. Huge improvement for these cars; IMO, makes the cooling bonnet worth the price of admission

VRS, aka Varis, parts are some of the best aerodynamics you can get. They come from Japan, and are very pricey. Kudos to OP for doing his build proper. The hood alone is $2-4k, depending which version he went with.

It's the newer version of the GTC 200 and yes the mount is their universal option as the coupe is very different and the coupe mounting points wouldn't work on the roadster obviously .

I took some pics for you , it's a overlay for the lower bumper that bolts on and then the splitter bolts up to that and the Varis front undertray .

Only fitment issue is the hood isn't designed for a car with a blower so my intake is real close to the hood , so much so you have to take the water blockers out for the vents . Not a big deal for me as she lives inside when not at the track .

All the parts together ended up at around 8k . It's the VSDC dry carbon hood .

any chance you can post a few detailed pics with the vent blockers removed without he hood down on the supercharger side....

supercharger must really be much more heard as it spools up now too....

I bought the hood for cooling so I have both the lateral blockers out , just left the center in place because I was actually getting too cool water temp wise lol ( won't go over 180 on the street) . No point in having a vented hood of your going to cover up the vents ! Makes a huge difference in water , oil and intake air temps . I'll put up pics later
