New ///M Badges and LED Halo Upgrade

I got back home from being gone for a few weeks last night, so today I decide two tackle a couple of small upgrades that I've been planning on doing for a while.

First, I replaced the stock, incandescent halo/angel eye bulbs with a pair of high output cree LED bulbs.

The install was extremely simple and straightforward, thanks to the step by step guide located here: http://www.zeleznik-klein.com/z4/fixit/drl/index.html

I didn't even have to use a dremel, as stated in the guide. Just a little bit of wiggling back and forth and some pressure, and the stock bulbs popped right out. I also did not find it necessary to file down the contact point.

The results speak for themselves. Night and day difference compared to the stock bulbs. Highly recommend this easy mod to anyone dissatisfied with the stock ones.

Next mod I completed was switching out the stock ///M badges with a set of black/grey ones that I purchased here: http://m.bmwdecals.com/BMW_Black_M_E...Monocolor.html

The badges I received were very high quality. The matte finish is nice a nice touch, and the stripes are not simply decals, they are actually painted, and then covered with a hard clear coat, so they will likely stay in good condition for a long time to come. No more replacing decals when they start to come off or fade.

Yep, those same ones. High quality, though the color temp is just a little more blue than I would have liked. Might switch them again in the future for something more along the lines of 5500 or 6000 K. These look to be about 6500 or so.

No_Dominion do you a link for the exact bulbs / seller? Also what software and cable did you use? If you could provide instructions for the coding that would be fantastic. TIA

This is the eBay ad I purchased from: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261278009280...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

As far as the coding goes for the bulb out light, I haven't done that yet. I already have some custom coding done from codemycar.com, so I might see if I can get him to do it. If not, I'm confident there are other options.
