I was shocked, I pulled up the BMW dealer report for my car yesterday and it had stated on there my car was listed as an Interlagos blue. When inspecting every inch of the vehicle last night, there is no way possible it could have been repainted to silver gray metallic.

I wonder if this happened often, leading to a skew in the numbers.

I think the color code is on a sticker in the engine bay, somewhere on or near the left front wheel arch.

I'll have to check that when I get home.

According to this spec sheet:

It shows the correct color per vin

And it appears the page from the dealer shows "56" instead of "66"... so it just got fat fingered.. lol
