4.10's in an automatic

Has anyone done 4.10's in an auto 3.0i? Search wasn't very helpful.... Seems like going from 3.46 to 4.10 would be a big boost in acceleration for me :O

2003 BMW Z4 3.0i  [9.00]
That's about the same jump I had when going from the stock 3.07 to a 3.64. I love it, but the highway revs will feel like you lost a gear. You'll feel a significant improvement in acceleration.

How are you planning to get the 4.10 gears?

eh diffsonline probably? With one of their LSD's if possible. No sense in tearing the thing apart to go half-way

I'm just throwing around the idea at the moment...

With my 3.73:1 ratio I find myself needing to upshift into 5th while driving in town. The revs come up on you really quickly.

Not used to the new gearing yet and find myself cruising along in 4th in town taching 4000rpm

Josh you are right I find myself looking for another gear on the highway but wouldn't change a thing with the new found virtual power
