Lease Ending, Buy or RE-lease?
My lease on my Z4 coupe is coming up in 2 months and I plan on keeping the car. I see that my options are to buy it out (which I would finance) or re-lease. Aside from the obvious difference between the 2, is there a benefit of one over the other? I assume if I know I definitely want to keep it I might as well buy it out?
Are lease and financing rates significantly different? Should I consider extending the maintenance/warranty? |

My 2007 M Roadster's lease was up last October. BMW financing wanted double my lease payments for extending the lease! Guess they don't want to release - despite the options they supposedly offer. I got a very good deal from the local dealership - $6K below the original buyout price. It was Fall and a Roadster, but my experience says try the dealer.
