FYI all E85 Z4 hardtops are the same for all years and all models. Aside from paint.

And even the paint doesn't matter. If you want one and you find someone selling one in ANY color, buy it. The issue of color is a distant second.

There was a nice one with all the right parts that just went on this board this week. Okay, it was in SoCal, and that would have meant a long drive for you. That may be what it will take to get a nice hardtop. Might be difficult to find local in the Northwest. When I bought mine, I took a long weekend, a nice long scenic drive, and got the hardtop I wanted. They are not that common. When you do find one, just prepare yourself to get one of a different color if necessary and paint it if you feel the need. But make sure you get the parts that come with it, as these are no longer available. Some people lose them or just throw them away.

Understood.....Yeah I know they are hard to find. I actually contacted the one you are talking about.
My Z4M has hardtop hardware installed already. Not sure if it came that way or previous owner installed. I think he ordered it with that option when he bought it new....Thanks for the advice Quote:

Yes there are. A friend of mine purchased a silver grey one a couple months ago. I'll check parts availability this week for you if you like.

The prices vary based on color is seems. For instance, a silver grey top is $3593, whereas a a black sapphire top is $6081. Sorry for the misinformation. The top is available in black sapphire and there is only one available in the US. There are none in Germany, so it may be the last one!

Imola trd isn't offered as a prepainted color. You can order a primed one and have it painted, which is about as much as the black sapphire. That's what my friends color is as well. He ended up ordering a silver grey and doing a 2 tone. It has grey wheels as well, so it kind of works. He figured if he didn't like it he can always have it painted to match and still come out ahead on cost.
