Hey ShitbrownMcoupe ... where are you located in Toronto? PM me as I have a good scan tool and can tell you what is causing the CEL ... but like other's have said, it's probably not a good idea to drive the car. I'd definitely call BMWNA and get them involved to sort this out.

Wow, sorry to hear this. I'd just park it in their lot and refuse to pick it up until it is fixed. This is a bunch of nonsense. Seriouly makes me think if my next new car will be a BMW...

Lucid,
my parents had a 740 15 yeas back and my father does not like bmw at all, he say's it's like a nissan, crappy built. even my mom has bad perceptions about bmw... i gave them another shot because of the time that has passed since the 740, and because of the rare z4m. I was thinking of getting the m5 or the new e class amg, or and S6. we've had many mercs over the years, they are decent in road handling but they are reliable engines. I had and audi a4 1.8t few years back in 2000, lowered and chipped and tracked it.... no problems at all. so I won't be looking to get any bmw in the near future. If the porsch panamera wasn't a 4 bucket seat design, I might consider that one, but with a 2 year old and another one on the way.... no way. very dissapointed in bmw indeed... if it wasn't an m car, I'd actualy forgive them. |

Your car was screwed over by a retarded dealership, I don't know if I would go as far to blame BMW as a brand over it. My family has owned 7+ bmw's my whole life and never once have they left one of us stranded, despite flat tires which don't count IMO.

You're lucky then.... the tech reps really friendly... but oh well... just dissapointment period... didn't expect this from an M car.
Like I said, if it was a 318 323... then I'll expect that. |

it's funny, I've brought the car to Town & Country a few times already. And everytime they give me a 323 courtesy car.
Each car was almost new. Few things I noticed: 1. under powered. 2. feels like I'm driving my dads S500... except the S500 is much more balanced 3. turning, response of the gas pedal is slow 4. car feels really heavy 5. IDLE, is not very stable on BOTH car's they've given to me. I personally think a Honda Accord V6 is better than this 323 version. Maybe a 335 would be much better hahaha. Coming from a guy that doesn't know much about cars... now with my shitbrown car in icu... I start to notice alot more on engine parts of the cars hahaha... THANKS BMW!
