Primed OEM Mirror Caps

Recently did a very cheap cosmetic mod. My original plastidipped mirror caps were starting to show their age and looked pretty horrible.
I had a spare unpainted cap lying around and it actually had a "matte black" primed colour that matched my already matte black roof very well, so I decided to order the other side seeing as the price was surprisingly low, and throw them on.

Very happy with the results.
If anyone is looking for a different option on caps while keeping their OEM ones this is a great alternative.

I really like it with the black wheels and other black trim.
And black and red is always a good combo.
Like a brunette in a red dress.

Whats the tow hook gopro setup?

Basically a modified original tow hook (Lengthened, welded a flat piece of metal to the end loop and rotated the loop so it's completely level when fully tight) with the flat GoPro mount attached.

Mirror caps looks extremely good. It might be an inspiration for some of us to try.
Front GoPro mount looks insane.

I've been toying with idea of painting my mirror caps gloss black to match the roof. I really like how yours turned out.

I read the text before viewing the pics and was iffy on the idea... but after looking at the pics I'd say this came out great! I'm not usually a huge fan of matte black but when coupled with red and with your mods, it looks great. Car looks stellar man, keep it up!

For anyone interested, I didn't want to make another thread just on that but here is what the tow hook looks like, it's nothing too special but it is secure and sturdier than others out there.

Just make sure you have a spare too, I'm currently driving around without a proper one so I hope I won't need a tow any time soon
