widest wheel in front ?

hey guys wondering what is the widest tire you can fit in the front of a M coupe
9, 9.5 and dare i say 10 ???? me personally i am looking for fit 18x10 et 40 LMK if possible ?

widest i've seen is 9.5 et35 and LOTS of neg camber. check out some of the stuff APEX has been doing.

I had a 10" in the front with lots of neg camber.

9.5 to 10 depending on offset and tire size with camber plates and a hellacious amount of negative camber

It helps to have suspension setup with camber plates and shorter springs so that the spring perch is higher up on the strut body, effectively allowing for more inside wheel/tire clearance. That said, you're going to need at least -2.5 degrees of camber for anything really really beefy up front.

I have 9.5" with 265s on all four corners with (currently) stock OE suspension for autocross/street. Details here ...

What is your reason for wanting 10" fronts? In my experience, wider tires up front will make your street car more suspectable to tramming, add more unsprung weight, and will probably make your care more tail happy. Autocross is the only possible scenario I can think for wanting wider fronts. On the track you probably want a degree of safe understeer.
