Easy Bluetooth Code Access Shortcut

Hi

So instead of taking apart the whole trunk, which I was planning on doing, I discovered a shortcut and pulling my hair trying to remove a clip.

First some lighting can help.

I was going to remove everything here like what other members had said.

This guy was a pita…

But then I noticed this when I tugged on this unintentionally.

So I kept pulling.

Module on very left side.

Then I hit a dead spot… The code is facing towards the front of the car… being lazy I decided to use my iPhone 5s and used the camera record function and recorded this Code starts with the letters PK and is on the very left side of the module.

My code is 0090

Hope this helps!

Oh! and before I forget… I have a M coupe, I guess roadsters will be different

You have to tell your phone to search for new devices.
When it sees BMWxxxxxx tell it to connect.
Your phone will then ask you for the 4 digit code.

There a few different variations and versions of the Bluetooth setup in the Z4. It wouldn't surprise me if something that works on one car doesn't work on another.

But looking on the Assist module in the trunk is a sure fire way to get the code.
