Got Hardtop.. Part number help.
I just got my hardtop. Love it! It totally transformed the car, it feels like I have two cars now.
There should be a little trim piece at the bottom of the back glass inside the hardtop I think. There are holes and I can't see them from many of the hardtop pictures that I searched. Does anyone know the part number? Can someone help me to take a picture of their hardtop with that piece installed or pull it to see if the p/n is printed on the inside? RealOEM site doesn't show diagram for that part. Thanks in advance. |

I have a hardtop but it is currently off the car for summer and in storage. I won't be putting it back on until probably late fall. Sorry...

It's hardtop season. Anyone can help me on what these holes are all about? Is there a trim to cover it up? What does yours look like?
thanks and would love to know if there's a part number to cover it up. |

If its not on realoem, I'm not sure it has a part number http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...30&hg=54&fg=20

its like a long piece of plastic covered in the same material as the roof liner....
good call on the hardtop, it literally CHANGES the roadster into a coupe feel, i absolutely love mine, it rally does feel like having 2 cars, the only problem for me, is i think it looks better with the roof on :-( lol

Any chance that you have a part number, Beedub? It looks bad just having hole that's visible and without that part number on the strip, maybe I can make something to go over it? Any ideas?
I'm with you on this one. I think it looks better with the hardtop or top down. I avoid top up as much as I can. |

I have that part pulled off my hardtop right now due to me having to pull out the headliner shell. Tomorrow morning I'll see if I can find a part number anywhere for you, if you still need it. Pm me if you want.

Yes. Thank you. I want the part number and if you can while it's off the car, please take a couple of pictures just in case there isn't a part number and I'll need to make something up.
TIA, |
