Allow me to reintroduce myself.

Some of you may recognize my name or have dealt with me in the past while I was sales representative at European Auto Source (EAS). As a fellow car enthusiast, I was very blessed to have worked with some of the greatest people in the industry while in SoCal. I look at my transition to APEX as another opportunity to learn more, meet more people, and share my experiences.

As you can tell by my username, things have changed. I now work for Apex Race Parts as a product specialist. Due to family needs, I recently moved up to NorCal. When thinking about what to do for work I couldn't imagine myself not working in the Aftermarket Performance Automotive Industry. The thought of working in a mundane, corporate job instead of sharing my passion for Motorsports made me cringe. The opportunity at APEX appeared at the exact right time, at the right company, in the right place. I feel lucky to be able to continue my journey in the automotive industry and on this forum with more performance enthusiasts.

I have only been here for a few months and I am already learning a ton. I have dealt with and sold many HRE, Volk Racing, and Advan Racing wheels while at EAS so wheel fitments were already something that I was familiar with. After working at APEX for almost half a year, I now see how detailed proper extreme fitments are, and why many APEX wheels are provided in unique widths and offsets. APEX is serious about fitment and Eddy knows a ton. I look forward to soaking in everything there is to learn from him.

A little background: Growing up, I've always liked a great variety of cars, but I still remember falling in love with an Estoril Blue E36 M3 when I first saw it. Shortly after, I was starstruck by the beautiful E46 M3, and quickly learned to know that ///M is the most powerful letter in the alphabet. While in school, one can only dream of being able to surround themselves with these beautiful machines on a daily basis, but that dream became a reality for me.

In the past, many of you have seen my Silver Grey E46 M3 through the many phases it has gone through: starting completely stock, then adding wheels, suspension modifications, a supercharger, etc. Unfortunately, it's almost stock right now but I already have a plan to make it faster and better than ever. If you met me at an HPDE in Southern California you know I'm hooked on tracking and after making my way to Streets of Willow, Chuckwalla, Auto Club Speedway, and Buttonwillow I knew I was going to spend years learning how to drive and modifying my car(s). What better way to spend my weekends than bright and early at the racetrack?

With the move to Bay Area and being a track addict, I've been itching to get the e46 M3 back on some of the best tracks in the World (that's what these NorCal guys keep telling me) being so close to me now. As mentioned before, I had to bring my M3 back to stock prior to the move up, which only results in one thing: rebuilding the car once again. This time around, I will take a different approach, addressing the items that will help me shave lap times before adding power to the M3. I'm extremely excited about rebuilding this car but more excited to drive at Laguna, Sears Point and Thunderhill. It'll be like learning to drive all over again.

As a new chapter has started in my life at Apex Race Parts, I hope to bring my experiences and knowledge to assist all of the fellow BMW enthusiasts on this board. Happy motoring!

Here are some photos of the previous stages of the M3, some of you may recognize the car from local track days!

Yes, I know. I have a wheel commitment problem :P

It would be great to run into you at Thill one of these days, that's where I usually am. Giving Laguna a shot in December on the 23rd (as are many of us here), which should be fun. Open group still has a few slots available.

I can't wait to see where you take the car next. I'm sure you're co-workers will help you with ideas, well, at least based on what I saw sitting inside the offices there.

I'm sure I'll see you at a HPDE soon! As for what direction the car takes next, don't worry there's already a LOT planned. Now just to have the budget for it...
