Hope you didn't buy this car.
Watching some videos of women who couldn't drive and saw one about a woman not being able to drive a BMW. Thumbnail kinda looked like a Z4 so I opened it. Immediately saw the lines on the hood and started to panic. After she stalls a couple times I saw the ///M on the trunk... poor car. The video looks like it was shot at a dealership. Who would teach someone to drive stick in a 330hp car? I understand if she is interested in the car to do a test drive, but let her learn on a beater first!

You guys are weird; It's a friggin' car.
From my skim through the video I didn't see her "damaging" the car or clutch significantly - wow she stalled the car three times - the horror. There are probably more 'abusive' things enthusiast due like burnouts, hard launches, etc. Chill out. My 0.02.

Agree w/ David70.. e-brake is on. No wonder she's having issues.
My wife just started learning on our new z4mc. ;-) Didn't have this much trouble.. but then we had the brake off. |

And....that's why we (in the Netherlands) have different driving licenses for stick shift and automatics....
Still doesn't solve the problem of women in traffic though

I think what's worse is the 1984 VW Rabbit diesel that I learned on. I had to practically have the gas pedal floored on that thing before I could think about releasing the clutch. While learning I killed it three times in front of a football player frat house with half the team drinking on the front porch, laughing their tails off. |

I learned on a Datsun B210. Horrid "car". Wife learned on a Mustang II, referred to as the "Mousestang" as the 4 cylinder engine didn't have enough power to get over a speed bump. After that the Z4 is a piece of cake.
