Flywheel + clutch works from m3 e46?
Hi,
I remember someone doing this mod, but I cant find the thread anymore. I have a friend with a m3 e46 selling his flywheel + clutch, and I was wondering if I am safe to buy it? thank you |

E46 M3 uses a different transmission than the Z4M. Different input shaft spline, clutch disk won't fit Z4M. Flywheel and pressure plate may fit.

Positive. You can confirm on realoem.com - Z4M transmission splines are 22, E46/M3 are 10. Z4M uses GS6-37BZ transmission, E46 M3 uses 420G or whatever it is called. Also, I have an email from ACT, they do not make clutches for Z4 or Z4M (same trans). That website has wrong information - 2009 E86 doesn't exist either.
