APR Splitter vs. Mstache

Okay so what is better? APR Spletter or the Mstache? I can see that the Mstache hangs down further making it a bigger target. The APR Splitter looks less likely to get damaged from a curb. But aerodynamically speaking which one is best?

APR for aerodynamics. Mstache for less damage and strength.

How can mstache be for less damage? It hangs down more than APR splitter.

APR sticks out further = reduced approach angle

I bought an APR splitter but never mounted it and eventually sold it. I DD my car and there are too many speed humps in my neighborhood, it was bound to be torn up

I also didn't really care for the look of carbon with interlagos once I got it

What this guy said. It sticking out further makes it more of a target.

Me as well. I prefer the APR, that's what I have. I prefer everything about it personally but a big factor was durability. The APR only ever scrapes the nuts on the bottom where the support rods mount as long as you're careful. I could see the Mstache looking pretty beat up after a few minor hits.

Yes the APR sticks out further, but it is tough as nails!!!
I have caught some curbs at the track and it has some scrapes on the bottom but that's it.

+1 on the APR durability!

Did a run from Seattle to Napa and the splitter ate a rock and a retread belt. The only damage was to the replaceable trim.

I already have an Mstache. I had a friend cover it with carbon fiber, after I drilled 4 1" holes in the front of it. I then installed for parking sensors in it. My purpose is to know how far the Mstache is from the curb. I have rubbed my bumper a few times and I want to protect it in the future. I haven't installed it on the car, but I did put it on the ironing board and connected it to 12v. I have now done a test. I put it on YouTube so I can share it with you.

I hope this works

I like the parking sensors. Cool idea.

Hopefully it will make my Mstache last a little longer.
