FS-2007 Interlagos M Coupe 12k miles
Here's a link to a nice low mileage car located in the Denver, Colorado area. We test drove it last week but my girlfriend really wants a white one. Seller seems to be a very nice guy. He'll sell it for $32,000 to $33,000. His phone number is in his ad. Bill http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/2983400487.html |

Mshanno1,
I googled that "acoustically decoupled final drive" and got.... They have a link in the Final Drive that dissipates the vibrations traveling the length of the car from the engine through the transmission down the drive shaft and into the differential. This drive shaft length amplifies the sound vibrations to produce a low freq hum. Decoupling this cancels the vibration short of its maximum intensity. The hydraulic rear mount is just like hydraulic engine mounts to prevent engine vibes from transitioning into the frame--the HRM prevents rear suspension vibes (and drivetrain/differential) from transitioning into the frame. |

It is in great shape. The only problem I saw was with the bottom of the driver's side corner of the front spoiler. The first owner must have hit a curb and it's a little boogered up. It probably wouldn't cost too much to repair and repaint the area below the seam line. Other than that, the car really is perfect. I think the buyer is getting a really nice specimen and the seller feels happy to sell it. Just how it's supposed to work.
