my mechanic wants 850 cash for headers and oem clutch install...

i think its good price and he is experienced, this will be my first transaction with him aside from an obd 2 reading.....
does anyon else think its a good deal?

I would say the clutch install only would be $600+ most places. Seems like a good price.

yea a clutch install isnt cheap. if i wasnt doing the headers on my own, i would be fine with 850$ for the clutch and header install. you've got a few other mods youre trying to do right? maybe see if he'll throw something else in for that price?

I bet you'll get more of a deal if you have him install more of those mods at once. or if you wanna stixk with 850, see if he'll do something fairly simple as well like the brake lines and CDV

seems like a good deal! My MR2's clutch labor was already $500 on its own. Not much room to work with in that car =/
