new member with ACS exhaust help...

Hey everyone I'm new to the forum and have a couple questions if anyone could possibly help me out. I recently installed the ACS exhaust on my 2007 3.0si and it looks like it sticks out a little and possibly sits a little low even after i got the rear add on lip with it. Any one know why this would be or how I could fix it? also I'm not sure how I'm supposed to pull of the stick for my shift knob. Its a manual and from what I read its supposed to just pull off but Ive pulled as hard as I can and its not coming off whatsoever. Anything I'm possibly doing wrong? Heres a couple pics for you to see what I'm talking about for the exhaust... I'll take more soon and post them up when I get some time.
