I have a set I am not using. Not sure about selling though haha, will it make my Z4MR harder to sell in the future if I do not have the stock bits?

Let me know if you have an offer for them though!

Mine aren't for sale just yet, but likely will be within the next month or so when I get a set of Stromung to replace them. My cans are also only a few months old (insurance replacement.)

Honestly don't know what OEM is worth used. Let me do some digging. Any suggestions from the forum on fair value?

They sell for $788 a piece new from BMW of South Atlanta, so a little less than $1,600 for a set. Crazy cost considering how lackluster the sound is. When mine come off I'd likely let then go for $1,000 shipped.

I picked up a Bramus exhaust locally. Hoping it quiets the car down. If not I'll pursue OEM.

Thanks all!

If you get down to the SF Bay Area, I have a pair of OE mufflers you can have for $350. Regardless of list price, that's about all these are worth.

I didn't think they were worth even $100 used.

If you see a set that is selling for $100 I will buy it and I already have a set I am not using. Send me any information on other parts that regularly get taken off, others then want OEM where I can buy them for 1/16 of the new price.

The value of used parts is easy to determine, they're worth what someone is willing to pay for them.

For me I wouldn't pay $1000 for stock cans (sorry), $350 is more reasonable. Having said that I split the difference of those two prices for a slightly used aftermarket Remus exhaust.

You will like the Remus if you want a somewhat stock sounding exhaust. It's barely louder than stock, at least for US cars.

Yeah, I have a set sitting around as well. But I wouldn't sell them for just $100 with all the shipping hassles. I may sell it if someone comes by to pick it up for $300-$400

I'll sell you mine for $100 plus shipping. I have the two rear cans, hit me up and they're yours. If you want the stock midpipes, I can throw those in for another $100 too. Let me know, thanks.

What exhaust came on your car and what are you doing with it? Haven't seen it on CL.

It wasn't a true exhaust, it was a bypass with no baffling in the cans. I plan to chuck them in the trash as they droned like mad at freeway speeds.
