Modding CDV

I've been reading about the CDV and the benefits of change it out with one that isn't restricted. My question is has anyone modded their own? If so how much larger/what size did you drill it out to?

You don't need to replace it with a drilled out CDV. You can just remove it completely.

When you removed it was there enough room for the flex to attach to the rigid line?

Yes. If it needs to pass a dealer inspection, you could drill it out also.
