CDV purchase

'07 MR
Late to getting around to replacing the CDV with a modified Zeckhausen version. As I recall, this was a $30 part in previous threads. Their site now reflects a price of $85 dollars (CDV-007).
Anyone have another source.

I remember it always being about $75-$80 from Zeckenhausen, but how about this:

Assuming your car is out of warranty already? Just remove it and be done with; you might need to adjust the hose a little bit. Another option would be drilled out your original and make the ID larger.
No need to purchase anything unless the car isn't under warranty.

I'd never spend $85 let alone $30 for a "dummy" CDV. Just remove the CDV.

My shop just removed mine. Said there was plenty of slack so a replacement wasn't necessary.

Or if you want an excuse to buy something new, you can get a stainless steel clutch line. :-)

It requires a little more care in bleeding the system if you replace the whole line. On the plus side, you will see a cool blue stainless line every time you crawl under the car.

No need to buy anything. The male/female fittings are identical, and there's plenty of slack in the hose.
