Brake fluid for track use
I believe this was discussed before but I wasn't able to find the thread.
I am looking to upgrade to a more appropriate, higher quality brake fluid for the track, does anyone have any experience with Torque RT700 ? What is everyone else using and what are your experiences/recommendations ? Would love to hear more about this.

My Z4MC spends most of its time on the track and I use Ate Typ 200 that costs about US$15.00 a liter. I Motive power flush the system a couple of times a season and have never experienced fluid related brake fade.

Motul 600 every 2-3 events for me. People swear by Castrol and say it's worth the price because you can leave it in all year. I've actually had fade with ATE and wasn't crazy about how the blue dye can stain your reservoir.

Castrol SRF for the win . Can change it it out once a year , no fade with R comps and PFC racing pads. Doesn't absorb moisture as much as other fluids and still has a super high boiling point even when it does. Well worth it for piece of mind and ease of use.

Or am I oversimplifying? I have more money than time and ambition. I'd spend more for the good stuff if it means I can do more driving and less wrenching.

I've thought about SRF, one thing I don't like is the 1liter packaging.
For those with a BBK, are you finding that 1 bottle is enough? A flush would get much more expensive to crack into a second one. I never keep an opened bottle.

I even had enough to flush my clutch too I use the ecs brake fluid kit at 20 psi, so the fluid comes out very fast.

You're much better than I am. I always go though 1.5 bottles lol. Leave the half bottle for the 2 events later for a quick bleed.

Motul are 500ml bottles, so you are using 750ml.

Anyone that's using SRF;
Have you noticed a couple of different part numbers for it? I'm seeing 21887 and 12512 Which is correct? Also from Turner; "Mixing silicone and glycol fluids is not recommended so SRF is best used with all new hydraulic components or by repeatedly flushing the old system with SRF until the old fluid is gone." Looks like when changing, more than 1 litres would be required for a thorough flush (including clutch , ABS) as to not mix fluids. ...after that 1 would likely be OK

Motul RBF 600. Ordered a case (12) yesterday for $18.60 CDN each and free shipping with Amazon Prime. Ordered 2 cases of Redline15W50 too for $13.50 CDN each Amazon Prime. Turner and local guys cannot compete with those prices. Hell; Turner wants $21.00 USD for the Motul or ~ $29.00 CDN + shipping.

So I flushed my brakes, replaced rotors, new pads, I thought it would solve the mushy pedal feel,but it feels the same...
Is the z4m pedal like that? When you press it hard, does it go lower than the gas pedal? At the track I kinda go on gas when Im doing heel n toe.
