Clutch stop and angel eyes

Just did my clutch stop. Here's how:

Just removed OEM one, and put 4 round pieces of felt floor protectors of similar size on top of it. Then put it back. The best mod ever. Really changes the feel of the clutch.

Now, one of my angel eyes is out. Does anyone have any ideas if this will fit:

It mentions it needs ballasts, the OEM ones are LED and don't need ballasts, right? But these are supposedly brighter... And where to put these ballasts?

Right... Then, I just need to buy a standard halogen light? Much better

Anyone has TIS available? What is the actual lamp I need for 2006 Z4 with bixenon assembly?

How much easier is it to clutch with the clutch stop. I had an M3 and the clutch was so long and heavy it flamed up an old knee injury. I'd liked to purchase a Z4 MC but the clutch is holding me back. Any other ideas on how to make clutching easier on the old knee?

It's certainly shorter now (it picks up immediately after I start releasing it, maybe even too aggressive), as for it being heavy, not so much, my previous mazdaspeed6 was much heavier and tricky to use. Wouldn't call it featherlite either, but I spend 2 hours in traffic every day without much problems. Besides, so much low end torque, if you're stuck in a very slow traffic, just don't downshift to 1st, car will handle it.

With my knee, I have had similar clutch issues with other cars, especially in stop & go situations.
The M Coupe is no problem for me at all.
Removing the CDV (clutch delay valve) makes the pedal a little lighter.

Air in the system does the same.
