Mono wipers?

Any of you crazy cats out there every thought about fitting a mono wiper to give that mean euro look and if so any picks.
I had one years ago on my e30 and it looked the part.

Hey, mods are individual things, so if you want to why not? No idea how though nor do I know of anyone else with this mod, but others have blazed a trail for new things and some have turned out really well.

IMO there are so many other things I'd rather spend it on. Dark Schnitzer is working on a bunch of things. FWIW I'd save up for this stuff....

1)- CF roof & Full CF-Kevlar hybrid roof.
2)--CF Hatch & E-Glass Hatch.
3)--Aero composite side skirts.
4)--Aero brake cooled side skirts.
5)--M' hood vented and stock.
6)--3D front splitter.
7)--Rear functional diffuser for M' covers.
8)--S.I. front splitter.
9)--Polycarbonate or Acrylic-street clear-tinted roofs.with headliner.
10)-Polycarbonate rear hatch glass replacement.
11)-CF increased flow air scoop.

I associate mono wipers with 90's Mercedes cars, taxi's in particular...

But think of the weight savings! :P

Yeah...I had a ACS mono-wiper on my Dark Schnitzer widebody 1992' S5 E34 and while it was novel....it reminded me too much of my 560 SEL Merc. and I removed it and promptly sold it.

Misnomer......it does NOT work badly. In fact...it worked very well and used a wider length arm and blade to fully cover the viewers zone.

I just thought it represented too much of Benz engineering to be on a BMW.

It's true the weight saving could be good. And if would be a cool old school mod to bring back and I've not seen it yet on a z.
Why's it euro? BMW/merc's our from Germany that's in Europe mate.

To each their own, but I agree. This would be a HUGE amount of effort.... for a single wiper blade? The build quality and BMW badge are plenty euro for me.
