Wierd Things Going On. Need Help

Went to start my car today (06 M roadster) and turned the key, lights on instrument cluster lit up but no beeps, stereo appears to be on but no sound, my turn signals on the dash don't work but the blinkers do come on, my top is down and nothing happens when I try and close it. It did turn over a little slow when I started it (was the first time in 2 weeks cranking it). Seemed to drive fine. What should I check?

Battery.

very common issue, start with checking your battery connections, and maybe even replace the battery to start the troubleshooting

Man that was quick !!!! I will try a new battery and hope that fixes the problem. Thanks for the help !

I'd try jumping it as the first troubleshooting step before I actually went out and bought a battery. If it starts up fine and everything seems normal, then yeah, replace the battery.

Recharged the battery and still the same issues. Take it to the dealer on Saturday hoping they could reset something and it would be all good. After an hour of fooling with it the service guy comes out and says he can't figure it out. Will need to wait until Monday and let the service manager look at it. Called today and said after 3 hours of testing/looking they have found the GM module is bad. Going to replace it and hopefully all will be good again.
