2003 z4 question

I actually used my air conditioner today. It really blows cold for a German car! But, at the light, I went to accelerate and the car almost stalled! And a couple of times it did the same. But not all the time. Has this happened to anyone? And if so, what's going on? By the way it's a 2.5 with automatic trans.
Thanks!

Sounds like the AC compressor clutch is causing to much drag on the engine. Take it to an AC mech and have them look. Small chance you need a new one as it is 9 years old.
